Texture Guide
Please note: This reference guide is specific to Bonbon Slimes. Textures may be defined and formulated differently from shop to shop.
Bingsu - Aka strawbeads. Lightweight and confetti-like. Creates crisp and crunchy ASMR.
Butter - Approximately 50/50 clay and slime. Great for inflation. BEGINNER FRIENDLY
Coated - Slime coated in a solution that makes it less sticky.
Crunch Bombs - Slime base with various crunchy add-ins. They make the most amazing ASMR, however, crunch bombs are often considered “expert level” as they require mindful playing. Aggressive play may cause fallout, may be abrasive for sensitive hands, and may cause scratches to surfaces. They may have a “tack” to them or be slightly under-activated in order to prevent fallout.
- Bubble beads - Round plastic beads
- Fishbowl beads - smooth round acrylic discs. May be subjected to fallout.
- Gravel - Larger, weighted rocks. May be abrasive for sensitive hands and is subjected to fallout.
- Sand - Weighted, inflating, and provides the most amazing ASMR. Note that sand may collect at the bottom of the container and become very dense. The sand can slowly and carefully be mixed back into the slime base.
- Silica Sand - Broken shards of plastic. May be abrasive for sensitive hands.
- Sugarbead - Small cubic acrylic beads. May be subjected to fallout.
Floam - Slime composed mostly of foam balls and minimal base.
Gloss - Loose, glossy, and slightly jiggly white glue. Has the most stretch out of all the white glue bases.
Perlite - Lightweight rocks often used in gardening. Great for crunches and breakdowns over time.
Semi-Floam - Slime base with a small amount of foam balls added in.
Slay - “Slightly clay” slime base with a small proportion of clay. Less than a butter slime.
Snow-based - Slimes containing instant snow. They may have a “wet” feeling to them and, depending on the amount of snow added, can be very inflating and “sizzly.”
- Cloud - Slime with a large proportion of instant snow creating a “drizzling” effect. Does not inflate. BEGINNER FRIENDLY
- Cloud Dough - Less instant snow than a Cloud and may contain clay. No drizzling effect. BEGINNER FRIENDLY
- Snowbutter - Butter slime with varying amounts of instant snow. Inflates to a poofy, foamy, sizzly texture. BEGINNER FRIENDLY
- Float - Typically a clear glue base with an icee/cloud topping. Mixes into a jelly.
- Icee - Typically a clear glue base with a large amount of snow. More snow than a jelly, less snow than a cloud. BEGINNER FRIENDLY
- Jelly - Clear glue with a small amount of snow. Inflates to a poofy, foamy texture.
- Sorbet - Clear glue base with slightly less snow than an icee. BEGINNER FRIENDLY
- Snow Creme - White glue base with a small amount of instant snow aka “white glue jelly.”
Snowfizz - Flakes of plastic snow. Crunchy and inflating.
Soft Snowfizz - Flakes of soft plastic snow.
Thick and Glossy (TnG) - White glue mixture with a nice shine and resistance. More stretch than an Ultra Thicc, but less than a gloss.
Ultra Thicc - Formulated purely of Elmer’s glue-all causing an almost matte appearance. Thick, dense, and resistant. BEGINNER FRIENDLY
Wood glue - Type of glue that produces a chewier textured slime
